The Solar dos Marcos was built by adapting an existing building, emblazoned (coat of arms of Martins) and was the home of D. Manuel Martins Manso, bishop of Guarda, native of Bemposta, who added the chapel in honor of NSª. da Conceição, already in the second half of the 19th century.
